A review of my final assignment

After an intensive and inspiring period of study, the moment has finally arrived: the presentation of my final assignment for the interior design course. This project was not only a test of my acquired knowledge and skills, but also a personal journey in which I could give free rein to my creativity.

For my final assignment, I chose a ‘Coffee House’. The design process started with a thorough analysis of the existing space. I then put together a mood board with colours, materials and furniture that would enhance the desired atmosphere.

After the mood board, I created the floor plan to determine the layout of the space. The interior design plan includes a number of other tasks. I am proud of the result of my final assignment.

This project taught me a lot about the design process, from concept to realisation. I learnt to think creatively, solve problems and collaborate with different parties. And the best part is that all the facets I like to do actually come together in such a project.

My final assignment was a valuable experience that prepared me for a career as an interior designer.
